The human imagination is apowerful tool, and for one of our students it has now become a very rewardingtool.
Launched in September, Adobechallenged the students of the UK to use their Creative Suite to capture whatinspires a generation. This was a challenge taken up by Georgine Burnett,Extended Diploma in Graphic Design Yr1 student at Jemmett Rd, who became one ofonly 21 winners selected from across the country. The competition was judged bya prestigious panel which included Helena Christensen, David Rowan and GregJames.
Speaking to Georgine about thecompetition she said “I thought I might as well enter as a young graphicdesigner it is important to take every chance you can get”.
The piece that Georginesubmitted is entitled ‘LOVE’.
“It is designed with love in mind as I believeit’s something that should be seen, something that should be recognised. This Illustrationexpresses me because I'm all about love, all about kindness.”
